Jan 31 – Feb 1, 2019
This is a timely conference for the Church, which finds itself in a cultural storm of fear and protectionism. How should the church move forward into a future that will be more and more multi-ethnic, which is the picture of the kingdom of God? How can Churches lead the way in loving those and showing hospitality to those who are not like us? How can Christians reach out to those in love and hospitality who are on the margins? This conference will explore the call to love as well as better imagine and plan how churches can welcome and love all people of the world. Along with our plenary speakers there will be many workshops for local churches to be inspired, challenged, and equipped to better love those next door and around the world.
The Conference is being directed by Dr. Brent Peterson, Dean of the School of Theology and Christian Ministries and Wesley Center Director. Dr. Peterson is being assisted by the 2019 Wesley Center Conference Team comprising of Pastors Dale Schaeffer (Medford, OR), Dave Mowry (Twin Falls, ID), and Ev Tustin (Kent, Washington) along with Dr. Rhonda Carrim.
