Last Updated 9 February, 2017

The Northwest Nazarene University Departments of Art & Graphic Design, Communication Studies, and Music are pleased to present the annual Night of the Arts event February 24 from 7 to 9 p.m. in the NNU Brandt Center.

Attendees will enjoy a night of music, spoken word, art and dessert. NNU’s Jazz Renaissance and Jazz Revival will perform as will The Slow, a group of current students and alumni from a variety of majors who create a sound experience meshed with poetry readings. Members of the decorated NNU Forensics Team will present a reader’s theater entitled Generational Differences. The Friesen Galleries will be open with a juried show of student work before and after the program, which will include a brief award ceremony for the artists.

The juried student show will also be on display in the Friesen Galleries from February 20 through March 15. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. or by appointment at friesengalleries@nnu.edu.

Night of the Arts and the student show are free and open to the public. You won’t want to miss this showcase of young talent!

Prospective students interested in art, communication and music are also invited to participate in a campus visit on February 24 culminating in the Night of the Arts. Visit love.nnu.edu to register online→
