NNU’s Department of Music will present “Guys and Dolls,” a musical comedy by Frank Loesser. The performance will take place in the Brandt Center’s Swayne Auditorium on March 3, 4 and 5 at 7:30 p.m. and March 6 at 3:00 p.m.

Set in the heart of New York City, “Guys and Dolls” is a story about redemption. In an attempt to get money to secure a hall for an illegal craps game, gambler Nathan Detroit offers a bet that Sky Masterson can’t refuse—a bet that sets sparks flying. Meanwhile, Detroit is trying to win back his fiancée, Adelaide, who has tired of their 14-year engagement. By the end, when bets and love seem at odds, the characters are forced to question their priorities and—hopefully—choose to make things right.

Directed by Rick Strader and featuring a full pit orchestra, “Guys and Dolls” promises to be a memorable evening full of enjoyment and laughter for the whole family.

Tickets are available through the NNU Brandt Center Box Office at 467-8795, the NNU Department of Music at 467-8413 or online. Ticket prices are $15 for general admission; $10 for students and seniors; and $5 for NNU students with an ID.
