Northwest Nazarene University’s 101st Commencement brought family, friends and staff together to celebrate on Saturday, May 6. 575 students receiving associate, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees.

Separate ceremonies were held to honor the 288 graduates of the College of Arts & Sciences and the 287 graduates of the College of Adult & Graduate Studies. Dr. Rhonda Carrim and President Joel Pearsall were the keynote speakers, respectively.

Reflecting on his experience, Kraymer Lorig (Marysville, Wash.), a Christian ministry major with a minor in worship leadership, said, “The professors have been so generous and gracious throughout my experience in the department, and I have learned so much from them. They have invested their time and their lives into me and my fellow classmates, and I have probably learned just as much from them outside of the classroom as I have inside. The friendships that have come out of us all being together over the last four years have really been an incredible blessing.”
