NNU announces strong fall 2016 enrollment

Last Updated 15 September, 2016

President Joel Pearsall announced this week that fall 2016 enrollment is at 2,053 students, just 11 shy of its all-time high from 2011. Overall, enrollment of 1,329 undergraduate and 724 graduate and doctoral students indicate stable enrollment. The university is also enjoying one of the most diverse incoming classes in school history.

The top majors chosen by this year’s class of new undergraduate students continue to be in the STEM programs while nursing and counseling continue to grow in the graduate programs.

President Pearsall added, “It is a privilege to be entrusted with the academic preparation of the outstanding undergraduate and graduate students who have chosen to enroll at NNU. I’m confident NNU’s faculty and staff are up to the challenge of providing these students a transformative educational experience.”

In the past decade, the university’s overall enrollment has grown by 11 percent.
