Greetings from the NNU Career Center! It is my pleasure to introduce you to what we can offer your future NNU student. Within the Career Center, our desire is to equip undergraduate students for success both during college and beyond. We make it our priority to assist students as they explore academic majors, assess career goals, and investigate internship and employment opportunities.

Our services come in a variety of forms, but we pride ourselves in offering personalized service to each and every student. We love opportunities to connect with students individually, as well as corporately. Throughout the academic year, we provide one-on-one consultations, class presentations and career development events.

We are known for our annual Career Week, which takes place in late February each year. This year’s Career Week entitled “How Will You Be Moving Forward?” will include seven events which focus on helping students build connections and prepare for the future.

The signature event of Career Week is the Career and Graduate School Fair. This full-day event provides students an opportunity to explore various careers and network with professionals from a number of disciplines. This year, over 50 companies from around the Northwest will be in attendance.

Due to NNU’s strong educational reputation, our students and graduates are highly regarded and sought after by organizations throughout the West. Each day, we receive employment and internship postings for the consideration of our students and alumni. All internships, part-time employment positions (on- and off-campus), full-time positions, and summer opportunities are posted on the Career Center’s website. Every student is eligible to work on campus, but students who qualify for the Federal Work Study program are eligible to participate in a few additional opportunities like America Reads/America Counts and work as tutors in either reading or math at a local elementary school.

We recognize that attending college is a significant commitment. We are here to support your student in their NNU journey as they complete their degree and envision its use in the future.
